Here is my latest crazy quilt block. I decided to embellish the first block that I made as an experiment to see if I could do curved foundation piecing per the instructions Allison has on her site.
Here is the bare block:
Here it is after embellishing:
I am almost caught up with the 100 days details except for the ones that have the silk ribbon embroidery. Since I lack silk ribbon or anything comparable, I have to do those details on another block! My wisteria with the caston stitches ended up more like mutant raspberries (like Allison's!) mostly because I also did not have any lavender floss...I did get some so I will probably try to do that detail over...I like my mutant raspberries though!
Now...I just have to figure out what to do with it - I have lots more of the fabrics, so I could make more blocks...or I could finish it off...its not dreadfully big - about 6" by 4". Any suggestions?

Make more blocks! I think the style is very fun and playful. It makes me smile to look at it so it should be a small piece by the coffee pot in the morning to help get the juices flowing!!
Wow~ You go, girl! It's colorful, lively, and gay. I love the cluster of buttons and beads. I'd mount it and frame it and put it on one of those little wood stands. That's what I'd do.
I'm with Rian and Debra; I'd want to put it where I could enjoy looking at it. It is happy making!
You could turn it into a Postquard & mail it to me! =-) I'd LOVE that!
Seriously, it's lovely & happy & bright, & amazing, & you should do whatever YOU want!
Wow! What beautiful detail. It's fun to see the before of the plain block and then the after with all the richness.
I don't crazy quilt so it was cool to see a before & after of the process. Thanks for sharing.
Your block is beautiful. Those bright colors are great.
this is an ideal postcard size - or it could be on the front of a book cover - just two ideas
I love it. Could you incorporate it into an evening bag? Do people carry evening bags anywhere except the prom?
Love it! Great colors and I really like your choices of embellishments for the block.
Linda
oh wow, this crazy square is really pretty
AMAZING!!! I love the colors and all the fun embellishments! Every time I see one of the 100 details blocks I say that I simply must start one of my own. Yours is the best one yet! I vote for a purse or a wonderful little piece of art for the wall.
I love your crazy quilting. Where did you learn the wisteria stitch? I'd like to try it.
